FAQs
Answer: The Bill Logs are not intended to be highly secure. The Bill Log number is randomly generated at the time you request it be created. There is no information in the Bill Log that identifies its creator or use. If you know a valid Bill Log number, you can use it. We do strongly suggest that you give your Bill Log number only to those who you desire to have access to the list of Bills you are tracking.
Answer: Simply recreate a new Bill Log and add to it the bills you would like to track.
Answer: Shortly after the end of each session, all Bill Tracking Bill Logs will be deleted.
Answer: Each weekday after both the House and Senate adjourns, the Legislative Record is produced by LRC. This is usually later in the evening, but may not occur until early the next morning. The timeliness of the Bill Tracking System relies on the release of the Record by LRC. Normally, the Bill Tracking information will be as up-to-date as the LRC Web version of The Legislative Record.
