State Auditor Crit Luallen announces, in accordance with Kentucky's Open Meetings Law (KRS 61.820), the meeting schedule of the State Committee for School District Audits. The Committee is chaired by the State Auditor.
The meetings are scheduled for September 29, 2005, October 27, 2005, January 19, 2006, and May 18, 2006. The meetings will be held at the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts, 105 Sea Hero, Suite 2, Frankfort, Kentucky. Each meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time. The Committee, formed by the Kentucky General Assembly, is in charge of making sure that each school district board of education is audited once every fiscal year. In addition to the State Auditor, members include representatives of the Governor, Attorney General, Legislative Research Commission Office of Educational Accountability, and Commissioner of Education. |
