State Auditor Crit Luallen announces, in accordance with Kentucky's Open Meetings Law (KRS 61.820), the meeting schedule of the State Committee for School District Audits. The Committee, chaired by the State Auditor, determined the dates at its May 27 assembly.
The meetings are scheduled for August 19, 2004, October 21, 2004, January 20, 2005, and May 26, 2005. The meetings will be held at the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts, 105 Sea Hero, Suite 2, Frankfort, Kentucky. Each meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time. The committee, formed by the Kentucky General Assembly, is in charge of making sure that each school district board of education is audited once every fiscal year. Members include representatives of the Governor, Attorney General, Legislative Research Commission Office of Educational Accountability, and Commissioner of Education. |
