(Frankfort - March 16, 2001) The Green River Regional Educational Cooperative (GRREC) received an unqualified auditor's opinion for the year ending June 30, 2000.

GRREC has 27 member school districts. The CPA firm of Berger & Ross, PLLP, performed the audit for the State Auditor's office.

GRREC is one of nine Kentucky school co-ops required to be audited under a bill passed during the 2000 General Assembly. The bill makes the State Auditor responsible for the audits and permits private CPAs to perform the fieldwork.
