Cindy James
Assistant Auditor of Public Accounts.
Cindy James is a CPA with 28 years experience in state government. Ms. James started her career in the State Auditor's office
and has spent 20 years there. In addition, she served the Attorney General's Office for eight years as budget officer and Director
of Administrative Services. She has worked for 5 state auditors and currently serves as deputy to Auditor Crit Luallen. As Assistant
Auditor of Public Accounts, Ms. James directs over 100 auditors as well as oversees the budget and administrative matters of the office.
Ms. James is originally from Ashland, Kentucky, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in business administration.
She is married to Brian James, a project engineer for Osram Sylvania. They have three children, two grandchildren and reside in Versailles.

Sally Hamilton
Director - Division of Financial Audit Ms. Hamilton began her government service in 1975 as a Housing and Community Development Unit Coordinator in the Department
for Local Government. Most recently she served as Chief of Staff and Acting Deputy Secretary in the Education Cabinet. Prior to
that she was in management of Kentucky Educational Television for ten years. She also served as Deputy Secretary of the Finance and
Administration Cabinet, and in the Commerce Cabinet.
Email: Brian Lykins Director of the Office of Technology and Special Audits Brian Lykins is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner with 24 years of experience in the State Auditor's Office. Mr. Lykins started his career as a financial auditor and currently serves as Director of the Office of Technology and Special Audits, as well as, agency Chief Information Officer. Lykins directs the audit staff who conducts Performance Audits, Information Technology Audits, Special Examinations, and provides support for technology services. Lykins is originally from Ashland, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Email: Bob McBeath General Counsel Bob McBeath has practiced law for 27 years. He began his career as a Law Clerk for former Chief Justice John S. Palmore at the Kentucky Supreme Court, where he also later served as Staff Counsel and Supreme Court Administrator. After a seven year stint in in the private sector abroad as an international law practitioner, he returned to public service in Kentucky. He is an 11-year veteran with the Auditor of Public Accounts, where he previously served as General Counsel and more recently served as Legal Counsel. A Kentucky native, he received his undergraduate degree from Stetson University and law degree from the University of Louisville. Email: Terry Sebastian Director of Communications Terry Sebastian began his career as a Kentucky journalist before entering government in 1992 with the Legislative Research Commission as a public information officer. In 1996, he moved to the Executive Branch where he has served as deputy press secretary for the Governor's Office, press secretary for the Kentucky Justice Cabinet and director of communications for the Kentucky Treasury. Before joining the Auditor's Office, he served as the alumni and public relations coordinator for Louisville Collegiate School, where he also coached boys' and girls' varsity tennis. A native of Richmond, Kentucky, he holds a B.A. in journalism from Eastern Kentucky University. Email: Janet Cantrill Executive Assistant to the Auditor of Public Accounts. Janet Cantrill is a 30-year veteran of state government. Cantrill spent 20 years as a branch manager with the State Budget office and the past 8 years as an executive assistant in the Governor’s office. Email: Georgetta Tolliver Executive Assistant to the Assistant Auditor of Public Accounts. Georgetta Tolliver graduated from college with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and has spent the last seven years with the Attorney General's office as a grants and contracts administrator. Tolliver returns to the Auditor's office after spending five years under State Auditors Bob Babbage and Ben Chandler.

Pauline Clark
Executive Secretary
Pauline is a 31 year veteran of state government. She spent the last 22 years of her service in the Governor's Office
for Technology working for the Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner and Deputy CIO. The other nine years were spent in various
agencies as administrative support. She is originally from London, Kentucky, is married and has two sons and one granddaughter.
